Del Boy too Old..............

Stars of Only Fools And Horses won't be getting back together with their old friend Del Boy for any more Christmas specials - much to their annoyance.

According to The Sun, the cast have been waiting for three years to find out whether any new episodes of the hit BBC comedy will be made.

But some of the cast allege writer John Sullivan has now abandoned his plans for a Christmas special – after failing to convince Sir David Jason, 65, to return as Del Boy.

Actress Sue Holderness, 56, who plays Marlene, said: “David thinks he’s too old to play Del now.

“For the last three years John has thought maybe David would decide to do more because everyone else wanted to.

“But I think he’s got the message now and sadly there won’t be any more episodes.”

The comedy began in 1981 and saw it’s last Festive story in 2002.

John Challis - who plays Boycie - and Sue are to have their own BBC spin-off The Green Green Grass.

John, 62, said: “We don’t see much of David now.”
